Getting lien deadlines into the tools your credit team already opens
Most credit teams don't need another place to check. They need the date to show up where they already work: a shared inbox, a Slack channel, a task list, a spreadsheet the controller reviews on Mondays.
That is what LienDeadline's Zapier integration is for. It connects with OAuth 2.0, and every LienDeadline plan includes Zapier access. Once connected, there are three pieces to build with:
- Upcoming Deadline trigger. A polling trigger for deadlines coming up on the projects tied to the user who connected the account. Pipe it into whatever your team checks every morning.
- Deadline Reminder trigger. A second polling trigger, for the reminders LienDeadline sends on a project. Useful if you'd rather route reminders than every upcoming date.
- Create Deadline Project From Invoice. An action that starts a deadline project from an invoice, so a new invoice in your billing tool can open the tracking record without anyone retyping it.
A setup we'd start with: new invoice in accounting, then Create Deadline Project From Invoice, then the Upcoming Deadline trigger posting to the channel where collections already talk. Nobody has to remember to open a separate app, and the date sits next to the conversation about the unpaid balance.
One caution. A trigger only reports what the project record says. If the furnishing date or project type is wrong in the record, the reminder will be wrong on time. Fix the facts at intake.
The endpoints, scopes and error codes are in LienDeadline's Zapier triggers for upcoming deadlines reference.
