A lip filler quote isn't one number

The figure people throw around is the American Society of Plastic Surgeons average for lip augmentation with dermal fillers, $743 in the U.S. That's a treatment average. It isn't a per-syringe price, and it isn't what your clinic will charge.

When I compared quotes, the useful part was asking each clinic to write down what's included:

• the product and how much of it
• whether a review appointment is in the price
• what a top-up or a correction would cost later
• the injector's name

Two quotes that looked far apart got a lot closer once the review visit was on paper.
