The joke from your last reply is still in the instructions box
One line in our settings guide gets skipped a lot: reply settings and instructions can persist.
So if your last task said "reply in German" or "make it a bit funny", that request may still be sitting there when you open the next post. The draft comes out in German, or with a joke under a post about layoffs, and it looks like the tool got it wrong. It did what the box said.
Our fix is boring. Read the instructions field before you hit generate, every time.
The rest of the guide is in the same spirit. Write the job in the instructions field. "Ask whether the change applies to existing customers" gives the draft something to do. "Make it engaging" doesn't. Pick a length that fits the point, Short for a quick thanks, Normal for a question, Long only when you actually need to explain something.
Engagement Mode invites more discussion, but it can't invent a good reason to ask a question. If the author already answered yours, say thanks or make a different point.
And when a draft misses, change one thing at a time. Too vague, fix the task. Too long, change the length. If it keeps claiming experiences you never had, take them out and fix the profile guidance.
